火箭内部机密
Clutchfans上的无责任谣言，信不信由你
昨天有人在Clutchfans上爆料（[url]http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=113792&page=1&pp=20[/url]），比较的危言耸听，所以信不信由你。有门户网站翻译了老范和TMac的两条，不过估计大家对大梦和Rudy的旧事也有兴趣，所以全翻了出来，水平不足之处请见谅。
I talked with a friend of mine over the Rockets over a burrito today. He's someone who has a
lot of connections within the organization. He even played for the Rockets under Don Chaney,
but then got cut and went to play in the Phillippines. Anyways, to keep longs stories short,
here is a summary of what I found very interesting:
消息来源：某人，在火箭队里有内部关系，曾在Don Chaney时代的火箭打过球，后被裁，跑到菲律宾去混
饭吃。
1) Forget what the media said about Vernon Maxwell and the off-court issues, the Rockets let
him go - The Rockets were in limbo when the Clyde Drexler deal was on the table. 2 team
meetings were held, one with the whole organization, and another just with players. After
both meetings, the party made the tough decision that it would be best to trade for Clyde
Drexler. Vernon Maxwell went immediately to Rudy and pleaded what his role with the team
would be, and Rudy said he'd still be the starting 2, Clyde the 3. When Clyde got here,
though, Clyde refused to play the 3, so Rudy was forced to use Mario Elie at the 3, meaning
Maxwell would only play about 5 mins a game behind Clyde. Vernon went to Rudy and said, "Hey
Coach, you promised me I'd start," and Rudy said something like, I know, but you earn your
minutes in this league or something like that, and Maxwell was furious at Rudy. He went to
Les immediately, and that was the first time that Rudy left something sour in Les' mouth. The
Rockets had no interest in Maxwell whatsoever from then on.

混乱。全体人员和球员们分别开了会，会后的共识是这个交易不错。Maxwell马上跑到Rudy那要求保证自己
在队里的位置，Rudy保证说他可以首发2号位，滑翔机打3号位。但滑翔机过来后却不肯打3号位，所以Rudy
只好用Elie打3号位，而Maxwell就只好在滑翔机屁股后面捡剩饭吃了。Maxwell可不满意了，对Rudy说：“
嘿，教练，你答应过我可以打首发的！”Rudy就支支吾吾地说了一些诸如打多少分钟由你的水平决定之类
的屁话。Maxwell大怒，直接到老板那告状去了，这是Rudy第一次给老板留下不好的印象。从此以后
Maxwell在火箭就不受重用了。
2) Matt Maloney was dating Les' daughter - Rudy asked the team to re-sign Matt Maloney, not
necessarily to a ridiculous price, but just re-sign him. I guess Les' daughter did a damn
good job convincing Les that Maloney was the perfect guy.
Rudy要球队续约Maloney时，Maloney正在泡亚历山大的女儿，所以续约价钱相当夸张。我猜大小姐肯定暗
中使了不少手段。
3) The Rockets traded Hakeem, he did not demand one - I don't know if you remember Hakeem's
year in 2000-2001, but he was freakin' awesome. He almost sat out the season because of some
heart/blood issues, but Dr. Cooley fixed all that up and he was back on the court. Only
problem was Rudy never started him, opting instead to go with Cato. Hakeem went to Les and
told him he deserves to start over Cato, after all he's done, but also because he is just
flat out better than Kelvin. Les went to Rudy and asked Hakeem to start, and Hakeem started a
few games here and there, but Rudy would use his injuries as an excuse to come off the bench.
When free agency came rolling, the Rockets did NOTHING to re-sign him. Sure, they offered him
a contract, but Toronto sent Vince Carter and other management officials to Hakeem's door and
begged him to join Toronto. It was a no-brainer from then-on. He then said that he won't be
surprised if Yao Ming gets traded down the road if Les is still owner, when he's past the age
of 35.
大梦其实不想走，但火箭还是交易了他。也许你还记得00-01赛季的大梦吧，他当时情况糟透了。他因为心
脏问题几乎缺席了整季，不过医生还是把他医好了。大梦终于重回赛场，问题是Rudy不再让他首发了，取
而代之的是Cato。大梦到老板那告状，说让他做Cato的替补太离谱的，他明显比Cato好得多。鸭梨让Rudy
给大梦首发，大梦终于如愿以偿首发了几场，不过Rudy总是以大梦的伤为借口让他呆在板凳上。当大梦约
满后，火箭居然没做任何努力去跟他续约。当然咯，火箭是提供了一个合同，但猛龙做了更多的工作，他
们派出一个以VC为首的动员团跑到大梦家里动之以情晓之以理。接下来会发生什么事就不用说了吧。此人
还说，如果姚明过了35岁后被送走一点都不奇怪，只要老板还是鸭梨的话。
4) Half the players on the team want JVG out - He told me that all the players that hated JVG
are now gone, and now there are guys who want him out because of his offense. I got the
impression that he was talking about young guys, so my assumption was he was specifically
referring to Luther Head, Stromile Swift, Chuck Hayes, Maciej Lampe, and Keith Bogans.
Probably explains why Lampe and Bogans, who both have talent, won't be back.
球队里半数球员都希望老范走人——此人声称，尽管跟老范有仇的人都被赶走了，但留下的人还是因为老
范的进攻不得力而倒范。而且此人还强调倒范的是年轻球员，所以我猜他指的是Head,Swift,Hayes,Lampe
和Bogans。这或许能够解释为什么Lampe和Bogans这两个不错的球员不愿留队的原因。
5) Rudy screwed the organization - Other than the fact that he had cancer and ongoing alcohol
problems, Les Alexander was irate with the way Rudy handled things with Hakeem and the way he
was coaching the team. The Rockets are in the financial state that they're in today because
of Rudy and his "loyalty" towards his players. The only way Rudy gets back with this
organization is if Les sells the team to someone else.
Rudy惹毛了管理层——除了患癌症和嗜酒这些问题外，鸭梨对Rudy对待大梦的态度和管理球队的方法非常
不满意。火箭如今的薪金状态就是拜Rudy所赐。只要鸭梨没把球队卖掉，Rudy就不用指望回来了。
6) The Rockets are screwed - That's this man's opinion. I vehemently disagreed. He said
TMac's back is chronic, meaning he's screwed. He said last year at Tracy's Charity Softball
game, TMac took a big swing and hurt his back; he took himself out of his own game. He said
the worst thing the Rockets did was trade for an injured Tracy McGrady, a McGrady who has had
the same injury since he was in Toronto. The Rockets didn't even give McGrady a physical. If
McGrady were to take an NBA physical today, he'd fail, according to him.
火箭这俱乐部很烂。TMac的背伤是慢性病，意味着他基本已经完蛋了。此人说去年TMac去打垒球时，挥了
挥棒就弄伤了背。最糟糕的是火箭换来的TMac早就是个病号，他在多伦多时就已经落下这个伤病了。火箭
交易前居然没有检查（可能吗？！），如果TMac现在参加体检的话，绝对过不了。
本人看法：跟大部分跟贴的人一样，对消息的来源表示怀疑。那人不过是十几年前在火箭打过球，水平地位肯定都是没有的，对火箭的近事就这么了解吗？估计也就是某个大嘴巴在YY而已
